Model description
The model provides information on the net carbon sequestration by the forest. It shows the difference between 2 years, which provides the rationale for carbon sequestration certification (CDR).
Selecting the date
To run the model, users need to select a year, and the model will compare the carbon content with the previous year.
Output
The model outputs an AOI Polygon with 3 values, Previous Year Carbon, Current Year Carbon and difference between these 2 values.
Also the model outputs the pixel level difference map.

The Carbon is calculated based on the AGB estimation, using Sentinel-2 imagery and 3PG forest growth model. Provided Carbon difference map has resolution 10 m/pix.
